ZEV Technologies & Ed Brown together – The Orion

Are you more of an Old School or Red dot Space Gun kind of person?

Ed Brown do both, and have renewed their collaboration with ZEV Technologies for 2019.

Below you can see their brand new creation THE ORION.

As to be expected, this 1911 is hand-fit with fully machined parts.

Ed Brown Products, is excited to renew our collaboration with ZEV Technologies for 2019, with the production of a new, one-year only limited edition EB/ZEV 1911. The leaders at Ed Brown Products and ZEV Technologies have once again combined and leveraged their respective strengths to create something truly extraordinary.

The perfect marriage of ZEV’s unique styling with Ed Brown’s classic quality 1911, this new collaboration builds on the success of the prior year EB/ZEV pistol, and takes it to a new level. Just to compare, I’m throwing in ZEV Tech’s GEN 5 Orion, equipped with a “bright star” by Surefire.

I have never owned a 1911, perhaps one day I will. If I had to chose between these two models it would be a vote for the the 1911 Orion over the Gen 5. Easily.

These creations also reminded me of The Austrian Arms Space Predator.
