Česká zbrojovka, the Czech parent company of CZ USA, have introduced the civilian semi-automatic version of the BREN 2. The BREN 2 MS joins the 805 Bren S1. Sadly the new rifles are only currently available in Europe and have not reached the US market yet.

While some have reached the US in pistol form, the full length rifles have yet to reach the US market. The new rifles are available in 5.56x45mm and 7.62x39mm. The rifles have cold hammer forged barrels, aluminium receivers, side folding stocks, ambidextrous controls, M-LOK mounting points at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock and a Picatinny rail at 12 o’clock. Unloaded the BREN 2 MS weighs around 3kg or 6.6 lbs. We may see a .308/7.62x51mm chambered civilian version in the future.
