    Weekly Deal Roundup

    AR-15 5.56 pistol-length stainless steel barrel – $86.25

    Image Provided by Ballistic Advantage

    What the deal is:

Ballistic Advantage is closing out one of their products, a stainless steel AR-15 barrel for 5.56. It is a pistol-length barrel at only 7.5″, and has a QPQ corrosion resistant finish. The barrel’s twist is 1:7, and it does have a threaded muzzle. This barrel’s 416R stainless steel means it will foul less and be easier to clean than a comparable 4150 Chrome Moly barrel, as well as being superior for competition shooting due to its increased accuracy for short groups of shots.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Originally priced at $115.00, Ballistic Advantage has lowered the price to $86.25 as they close out this product. That means you save 25% off list price for a reliable, accurate product that will make a great addition to an AR-pistol for competition or range use.

    Browning bxr .270 win, 134-grain 20 rounds – $19.99

    Image Provided by Sportsman’s Guide

    What the deal is:

Sportsman’s Guide is selling Browning BXR 270-Win hunting ammunition. Specifically designed for use on deer, the tip fragments on impact to reveal the expanding hollow-point behind it. These rounds have a muzzle velocity of 3,060 FPS, a muzzle energy of 2,786 foot-pounds, and a ballistic coefficient of 0.464, meaning these rounds experience low enough drag that they’re good for long range shooting.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Because Sportsman’s Guide has knocked $10 off the box price, presumably because many states’ deer seasons are rapidly coming to an end. Still, $1.00 per round is a pretty great discount considering these rounds are usually priced at $1.45 a round.

    Federal gameshok 50-grain jhp 22wmr 50 rounds – $10.69

    Image Provided by 1-800-Guns-and-Ammo

    What the deal is:

1-800-Guns-and-Ammo is selling boxes of 50 rounds of Federal 22WMR 50-grain ammunition. The bullets are jacketed hollow-points designed for small game such as rabbits or squirrels. The rounds have a muzzle velocity of 1,530 feet per second, and a ballistic coefficient of 0.158. It is suitable for shots up to 100 yards, but drops off rapidly after that.

    Why it’s a good deal:

The ammunition is being sold for just under $15 off list price, 57.5% off. The rounds themselves are $0.21 cents per round, but that’s a substantial discount from their usual $0.50 cents per round.

    Smith & Wesson M&P9 shield 2.0 9mm no thumb safety – $309

    Image Provided by GrabAGun

    What the deal is:

GrabAGun is offering the Smith & Wesson Shield 2.0 in 9mm. This model has a 3.1″ barrel, holds 8+1 rounds, and does not have a thumb safety but instead a trigger safety. It weighs 18.3 ounces. The sights are steel with white dots, and the barrel is stainless steel with an Armornite finish. The M&P9 Shield 2.0 is a common carry handgun because of its solid performance and small profile.

    Why it’s a good deal:

It’s a good deal because GrabAGun is selling them for well below what you usually see these go for. Generally the M&P9 2.0 can be found for around $350, and on sale can be found for closer to $320. However, here it’s being sold for $309. A nice $40 off what they can usually be had for.

    FN Pistols close-out sale – $349-$379

    Image Provided by EuroOptic

    What the deal is:

EuroOptic is closing out a batch of FNS-series pistols, with seven different models on sale. Five of the models are variations on the FNS-40, four of those are compact models that have 3.6″ barrels and hold 10+1 rounds of 40 S&W, the last being an LE model that holds 14+1 as standard. All of the FNS-40C models come with two 10-round magazines and one 14-round magazine. Two of the 40C models are DAO, other two are striker-fired. The other two FNs on sale are FNS-9Ls, both of which are striker-fired and which differ in type of night sight (tritium vs dot). Both FNS-9Ls come with three 17-round magazines.

    Why it’s a good deal:

This is a surprisingly good sale. The FNS-40s (both compact and LE) are on sale for $349, except the DAO with night sights, which is going for $339. Generally speaking FNS-40 series can be found for between $360-$460, which this sale is well below. Both FNS-9L pistols are being sold at $379, which again is well below their general “street price” of $450-$550. Definitely a deal worth looking into.

    Heckler & Koch tekmat reloading/cleaning mats – $11.99-19.99

    Image Provided by TekMat

    What the deal is:

Before you roast me in the comments, yes I’m aware this is neither a gun nor a gun accessory nor a gun part nor even ammunition. That’s why there’s still 5 of those above. However, with the holidays coming up, if you’re interested in an inexpensive gift for one of your fellow ammosexuals, this will hit the spot. The mats are well-made, look cool, and make a great addition to anybody’s workspace. TekMat is offering the MP5 mat, the USP mat, and the P30 mat all on sale.

    Why it’s a good deal:

The MP5 mat is the best deal, it’s 20% off retail for $19.99 instead of the usual $24.99. The P30 and USP mats are both $11.99 instead of their usual $13.99, 15% (or a pretty measly $2) off.
