Kimber Introduces Striker-Fired Pistol – Kimber EVO SP

    Kimber have announced the launch of a brand new line of striker-fired subcompact carry pistols. Perhaps best known for their revolvers and 1911s, Kimber’s new EVO SP is part of a major expansion of the company’s product line.     The news emerged via a post on Kimber’s dealer blog, with the announcement that the pistols were available for dealer orders as of November 5th. The new 9mm striker-fired EVO SP family comes in four models, with metal slide and frame, it has no manual safety and has tritium night sights and matching ‘G10 Stiplex-inspired’ grips and backstrap. No magazine capacity was listed in the product information but one press photo shows a single stack magazine.
