Cole-TAC is excited to announce the newest product in the company’s ever-evolving quest of designing and manufacturing tough, durable, and innovative gear for shooting enthusiasts.  

The Backbone Bag System from Cole-TAC represents the next revolution in support bags.  The patent-pending design eliminates the need for straps that attach support bags over the rifle or optic.  The hardcoat-anodized frame attaches to the rifle by either an American Defense Picatinny mount or an Area 419 Arcalock mount.  Four Velcro straps keep the bags securely in place, and the wide surface area of the frame prevents the bags from twisting and shifting.  

The Backbone Bag System (BBS) is both adaptable and versatile.  The frame can be used on any several other BBS compatible bags, offering shooters the best support for their shooting scenario.  Once the frame is removed, the bag can be used just like any other standard bag as there is no sewn in metal frame. This interchangeable design makes both the bags and frame extremely versatile.  Currently, the Cuddle Bag, Little Cuddle Bag, Trap Bag, and Flat Bag are all compatible and can be purchased separately.

The frame ships with the Flat Bag, which is constructed from mil-spec 1000D Cordura nylon and filled with crushed polypropylene. Like all of Cole-TAC’s rugged gear, this product is made in the USA and offers a lifetime warranty.  Both the bag and frame have a MSRP of $160.
