Lone Wolf Distributors Timberwolf Large frames are almost here. These are the .45 ACP/10mm Auto versions of the company’s famous Glock frames. Lone Wolf has just announced that the large frames are now available for preorder and will ship soon.

Apparently, Lone Wolf really takes pride in designing this frame. And the reason is that they managed to make a 10mm/.45ACP Glock magazine compatible frame that is literally a hair larger (.007 larger in grip circumference) than 9mm Glock frames. Lone Wolf puts it this way:

We are currently waiting for the lawyers to give the nod that the ink has dried on the patent paperwork and our revolutionary design has been protected. We know that this has been a long time coming, but also, we know that you’ll find that the wait was well worth it! We say this, because once you get one of the new frames in your hands, you’ll find a .45 ACP/10mm frame that’s fractionally larger than that of a Glock 17 frame. A 9mm-sized frame, with a full power upgrade and compatible with multiple Generations!

As shown in the above image, the new Timberwolf Large frame is compatible with Gen 3 or Gen 4 Glock 20, 21, 40 or 41 slides. It is also compatible with Glock 20/21 length magazines and frame parts. This frame features a dust cover adapter, removable magazine well and interchangeable backstraps.

The Timberwolf Large frame is available for preorder in one of the following configurations and price points:

• Stripped frame ($124.95)
• Stripped frame with parts kit unassembled (Polymer trigger shoe) ($199.95)
• Stripped frame with parts kit unassembled (UAT shoe) ($249.95)
• Fully assembled frame with polymer trigger shoe ($224.95)
• Fully assembled frame with UAT (UAT will be included as separate item not installed in frame) ($274.95)
