Strike Industries has just released a new product – the Glock Modular Blade Sight. As in the case of many other Strike Industries products, this one is also packed with features. Probably the most notable of these features is the construction of the front sight which has interchangeable vertical blade style inserts that allow the end user to change the color of the front sight post depending on his personal preferences or shooting style.

The Glock pistol is legendary in its reliability, durability, and utility.  However, the stock sights leave much to be desired.  While there are many options on the market to service this need, we at Strike Industries have a unique approach to bring additional value to you.  We all have different preferences and requirements when it comes to how we set up our gear.  With the easily interchangeable sight inserts, you can tailor our sight to what best suits your shooting style.

The core of our solution lies in the interchangeable front sight blade.  Traditional dot sights have a potential for vertical misalignment, requiring the user to index twice, once to center the dot, and confirm again that the black top is aligned with the rear sight.  By moving the sighting element all the way to the top, this second step is mitigated

The company also claims that their optical inserts perform better than conventional fiber optic rods by gathering more light and having a more robust construction. There are two optical inserts of green and red colors as well as white and black opaque inserts in case if you are going to use the pistol in bright light conditions where the illuminated front sight post may be a disadvantage.

The rear sight notch of this system is tapered thus becoming an intermediary solution between the narrow and wide notches. This solution is supposed to provide the precision of the narrow notch and quick sight picture acquisition of the wide notch in a single package. The rear sight also has anti-glare serrations on the surface facing the shooter.

The Modular Blade Sight is compatible with the following Glock pistol models: 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38 and 39S.
