At the beginning of the current year, Century Arms announced that they started importing Romanian AK-based 9mm pistols called Draco NAK9. JMac Customs, being one of the leading AK accessories making companies, has already designed and prepares to launch three new products for NAK9 pistols. Today we have a chance to take a sneak peek at each of these accessories.

Stock Adapter

The idea behind these stock adapters is to convert the rear trunnion into a Picatinny rail section which will allow attaching SIG MPX/MCX stocks to your weapon. In fact, this is not a single product but a family of adapters designed for various weapon systems: AKs of different rear trunnion designs, H&K MP5, CZ Scorpion etc. So, JMac Customs has designed such an adapter for the Draco NAK9, too. You can use this adapter to mount a SIG MPX/MCX compatible stabilizing brace or a stock if you are planning to SBR your Draco NAK9 pistol.

Charging Handle

Next NAK9 upgrade made by JMac Customs is an extended charging handle. Unlike most of the AK rifles, the NAK9 has a pinned separate charging handle that can be removed. The JMac charging handle is designed to replace the factory one. The knurled surface of this handle will provide a non-slip surface and ensure a solid purchase on the charging handle.

Muzzle Brake

Last but not least, JMac Customs has also designed a muzzle brake for the NAK9 pistol. In terms of the overall design, this muzzle brake is identical to the company’s popular RRD-4C series of muzzle devices except this one is made for the 9mm caliber. It will be available in both muzzle thread pitch options that NAK9 pistols come with: 14x1L left-handed metric and 1/2-28.
