The eleventh Installment of Build of the Week was contributed by Steve and is a 10/22 Stainless Takedown model with some simple and clean mods.
So far, Steve is winning the “most builds submitted game” (I’m spreading them out so we don’t just have a “Month of Steve”). What I find interesting about this build is the placement of the scope–the eye relief looks uncomfortable, but I’ll admit I know nothing about this model. The use of the reversed cantilever mount is also pretty clever (I personally have not seen that application but it makes perfect sense). It is hard to tell if that rear site is useful, but I suppose you can always yank the scope off.
As far as a truck gun, I’m digging this one.
