I am pretty sure that most of our readers know about the World Of Guns: Gun Disassembly application by Noble Empire Corporation. This app represents a database of detailed 3D firearm models which you can disassemble, learn the mechanisms of operation etc. Recently, Noble Empire’s subsidiary company called Printed Firearm Replicas has announced the start of sales of polymer 3D printed non-firing firearm replicas.
These models are printed for educational purposes only. They will allow studying the mechanisms of different firearms which real versions are either rare and hard to obtain or impossible to acquire depending on the area you live in and the type of the firearm. In order to completely eliminate the possibility of parts interchangeability with real firearms and avoid possible legal consequences, these printed firearm replicas are slightly oversized compared to their real counterparts. Also, all parts of these replicas including the springs are made of PLA plastic.
Currently, there are three models available in Printed Firearm Replicas website.
Colt Walker Revolver
Just like other 3D printed replicas, this one also has all the parts of the real revolver printed in plastic which allows studying the complete disassembly and assembly processes.
The MSRP of Colt Walker revolver replica is €169 (about $197). It comes with two spare springs (mainspring and trigger spring). When purchasing these 3D models, you will also receive a promo code that will unlock these firearms in the World Of Guns: Gun Disassembly simulator.
Here is also a video demonstrating this replica.
Double Barrel Derringer
This derringer replica also has all the parts as the original one. It comes with a couple of cartridge replicas and four spare springs (trigger spring, hammer spring, hammer nose spring and sear spring).
The MSRP of this replica is €89 ($104). After the order is placed, it will take the company one to four days (depending on the model) to print these replicas.
Protector Palm Pistol
The Printed Firearm Replicas palm pistol is also capable of replicating the action of the real gun and its disassembly process. It comes with four spare springs (trigger spring, hammer spring, actuating lever spring and sear spring) and six cartridge replicas.
The MSRP of the Palm Pistol replica is €89 (about $104).
