Rex Silentium has introduced a new muzzle brake designed for pistols and pistol caliber carbines. The new brake is called GunFighter. It is full auto rated meaning that it should function flawlessly even in the most intensive firing sessions.

Large ports of the GunFighter muzzle device are designed to provide a maximum amount of recoil reduction and muzzle rise compensation. The first slot is pointed upward and works as a muzzle rise compensator. The following two ports are designed to redirect the gasses to the sides and upwards thus mitigating the felt recoil and also aiding the muzzle flip compensation. The flat profile of the brake won’t let it interfere with the iron sights of handguns.

The Rex Silentium Gunfighter muzzle brake comes with a lock nut and does not require a use of washers, set screws or thread locking compounds to install it. Basically, all you need to install it is to thread the brake onto the barrel, align it properly and tighten the lock nut thus fixing it in place.

The GunFighter brake is made of steel and features a mil-spec black nitride finish. It has an overall length of 1.88″, a width of 1.15″ and the thickness of this brake is .80″. The GunFighter muzzle brake weighs 2.5 oz. According to the manufacturer, the dimensions of the brake make it compatible with USPSA and IDPA rules.
