Kydex holster and stealth makers ANR Design has come up with a new mount for the Trijicon RMR when on long guns. Branded the ANVL, the picatinny rail attachment incorporates both front and rear back up iron sights that cowitness in the lower third of the RMR. The mount is designed to be run forward on the rail, similar to the distance from the shooters eye when using pistol sights. The front sight post is adjustable for elevation.

ANVL UKON is a micro Trijicon RMR rifle mount that incorporates a single focal plane absolute co-witness backup iron sight package. It utilizes a standard type AR-15 adjustable front sight post. It has the ability to adjust elevation. The user can adjust elevation to be point of aim, point of impact for subsonic rounds while still running the red dot for supersonic and vice versa. It can be used as an absolute co-witness as well for a backup if the red dot fails. Because it is a single focal plane, and it is so close together for a sight picture; the irons actually act like a backup red dot. The mount is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a 7 Series hard coat.

The story begins in one of the last few remaining free states known as New Hampshire. Many folks have no clue where NH is or that it has some of the most Second Amendment friendly firearms legislation in the country! What started as an idea between two individuals, Alex and Ryan, officially became a business in January of 2014 (Ryan has since left to pursue his dream to become a farmer in Hawaii). We began 3D printing firearm accessories and novelty items. As our brand grew, the community followed. With our business strengthening, our innovative drive grew, and we dove into the holster game head on. This next year was crucial, days and nights were spent molding, cutting and polishing new designs and products. We soon built a great reputation and not long after, our KYDEX holsters became a household name throughout the country. Our business has now grown into a multi-member cross-functional outfit with the capability of adhering to our customers’ needs efficiently.
