Circle 10 AK has just released two new AK products –  AK Push Button 2-Bolt Folding Hinge and AK 2-Bolt Triangle Stock. Both of these accessories use 10-32 2-bolt mounting system. Let’s take a quick look at each of these parts separately.

AK Push Button 2-Bolt Folding Hinge

The hinge is compatible with 2-bolt stock adapters that are tapped to take 10-32 screws. Such stock adapters are made by ACE, Krebs Custom and Stormwerks. In order to install the hinge, you will need to align its two holes with the holes on one of the mentioned stock adapters and fasten it in place. Probably adding some sort of thread locking compound will be a good idea, too.

According to Circle 10 AK, unlike other folding mechanisms that rely on spring tension to lock and are normally stiff, their hinge utilizes a push-button mechanism which makes it easy to operate and at the same time provides a secure lockup.

This stock hinge comes with all the hardware necessary to mount it on the stock adapters. The MSRP of this product is $54.95.

AK 2-Bolt Triangle Stock

This triangular stock is compatible with 10-32 2-bolt side folding adapters. It is deliberately designed to be a bit shorter so that when used with the side folding mechanism the whole assembly won’t have an excessively long length of pull.

This Circle 10 AK stock is machined from 6061 billet aluminum and has an anodized finish. It also has 2 QD sling swivel mounting sockets on either side, near the heel area. The buttpad portion has a machined pattern resembling large serrations designed to provide a firm purchase on the shooter’s shoulder. The length of this stock is 6.5″ and it weighs 13.8 oz.

This triangle stock is available on the Circle 10 AK’s website at an MSRP of $99.95. The stock is made in the USA and it is considered a 922(r) compliance part.
