Midwest Industries M-LOK Handguard for Henry 45-70 Lever Action Rifles

Remember the M-LOK forend for the Marlin 336 lever action rifles that Midwest Industries released last year? Well, they’ve just released an M-LOK Handguard for the Henry 45-70 lever action rifle as well. Just like with their Marlin 336 model, their new handguard is made out of hard coated 6061 aluminum and is made in the USA. It’s 11 inches in length, 1.64 inches wide and weighs in at 5.5 ounces. It has M-LOK rail slots to attach lasers, lights and other accessories, as well as quick-detach sling sockets on the sides and a standard forward mounted sling swivel down below.

While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I think it looks pretty boss on the all-weather model Henry 45-70 lever action rifle (as seen above) with the strained stock and corrosion resistant chrome plated finish. However I do think this handguard would look off on a traditional wood and steel or brass Henry 45-70 lever action rifle.

The new Henry 45-70 handguard has an MSRP of $164.95 over at midwestindustriesinc.com and includes a lifetime warranty from Midwest Industries. It’s recommended that you have this installed by a gunsmith familiar with working on Henry rifles.

Midwest Industries also said they’re working on releasing M-LOK Handguards for other Henry rifles very soon. No word on if they’re working on a Picatinny scope rail like they have for the Marlin 336.
