Crimson Trace has a very healthy coverage of firearms with their dedicated laser units and more universal models as well. One model which is leaner in profile than most is the Laserguard series. Diminutive enough to not entirely ruin holster options for consumers yet still robust enough to maintain a zero and provide easy use.
The Crimson Trace Laserguard for all those reasons mentioned is fairly popular as a result. To add in one more equally popular pistol to that laser’s line-up, now you can get a Laserguard for your Sig Sauer P320.
The LG-420 unit, which is the Red Laser option that retails for $229, fits the P320, M17 and M18 pistol variants which all share a common trigger guard and rail configuration. The LG-420G is the same unit but offered with a green laser at an MSRP of $309 for consumers.
It is important to note that the LG-420 and LG-420G fit all of the P320, M17 and M18 models except those in a sub-compact frame. The stout size of the sub-compact uses a different trigger guard and rail configuration.
All of these Laserguard units utilize one (1) 1/3N Lithium or two (2) 357 Silver Oxide batteries. The life of the laser for the red LG-420 is 4 hours while the green LG-420G is only 2 hours.
Both of these feature a Full Warranty for 3 Years from the purchase date. Like all of Crimson Trace’s lasers, these can be adjusted for windage and elevation to ensure meaningful, consistent hits on target.
The size of the laser when projected is roughly 1/2″ at 50 feet or roughly 17 yards.
While simple in nature, sometimes that is all that is needed to get the job done. These should currently be available at Crimson Trace dealers or to potentially order for your Sig Sauer P320, M17 or M18 pistols in either the red or green option.
