Use of African “Voodoo Bullets” (And Beliefs) Spreading (April Fools)

    Shocking ammunition trend emerging…

Building based on my article on superstitions regarding firearms in Africa, and specifically in West Africa, investigations and reports show that there is a deeper and more macabre element which has emerged.

No one knows when or where it started, but the lore in the bush is that it all began possibly from the magnitude of the Rwandan Genocide and expanded during the wars in Libya.

It emerges now that there is a bizarre and growing trend of fortifying 7.62×39 “Kalash” ammunition powder strength with the addition of ground up human remains, powdered human bones. It is said that a voodoo-oriented militia clan in the Central African Republic started this, and it has spread far and wide.

A Nigerian Policeman who just got back from United Nations peacekeeping duties in Goma in the Congo, says that he had seen this with his own eyes: bullets that had been pried off their cases, dried human bones being powdered and then added to the cordite, and finally crudely pressed back reassembled using a car tyre jack and a piece of angle iron braced against the wall.

Our witness, who prefers to remain anonymous, swore that he saw bullets shot from such rounds that “went further and killed more people” than regular ones. He described the impacts as like the noise of a “large palm tree falling in the forest”. He said the blast of firing such was comparable to thunder. It put much fear into both the shooter and others around.

It is spreading to the Middle East…

What is shocking is the fact that such bullets are beginning to be found on battlefields in as far as Yemen and Syria. They are usually identified by a red dab on the primer. It is reported that this red colour is made of the blood of victims of fighting. The round is known now across Central and West Africa as the “Thunder bullet”, and in Syria – the cartons containing such rounds are labeled “Dutse Al-Afriki”: the “Black Stones from Africa…”.

    African Voodoo Bullets

The trend in the Syrian battlefields of Ghouta and even up north in the Kurd-contested Afrin is that these bullets are reserved for use on “infidels” and other persons considered degenerates…

Of course, there is the concern of particle contamination from human remains of those shot at close range, and the ratio of firearm failures caused by these rounds has risen.

It is a complete mystery as to where this idea came from? No one knows – just another one of those dark and ghoulish things that seem to be increasingly exposed from the misty swamps of darkest Africa.

It is shocking that the Dead are now being used to make more dead…

    Y-man

Y-man is based in a firearms-restricted environment in West Africa, he is really interested in shotguns [Which is all he can legally get], and he makes the best of whatever he is able to lay his hands on in terms of DIY and improvising.

He did have some training at an early age attending military school in his country, including some weapon training…

He always appreciates all your advice, comments and feedback.
