For those wanting to suppress a Canik TP9, your wait is over. Today, Century Arms International (exclusive importer of Canik pistols and accessories) announced that the TP9SFT are now shipping. This specific version of the TP9 is Canik’s answer to customer demand of a suppressor-ready handgun.
The TP9SFT is a natural evolution for the Canik TP-Series with the increased interest we’ve seen relating to suppressor ready platforms,” said Jason Karvois, Century Arms Director of Sales. “We listen to our customer base and are focused on offering the variants that they are looking for.
The TP9SFT is a purpose-built version of the classic TP9SF. According to Century, the TP9SF pistol series represents an ideal option for global military, law enforcement, security professionals, and civilian shooters alike.
What’s In the Box?
The TP9SFT pistols are now shipping and will be available at retailers with an MSRP of $519.99. Each TP9SFT pistol is packaged from the factory with one 18-round and one 20-round magazine, polymer holster with a paddle and belt attachment, two interchangeable backstraps, cleaning rod, brush, magazine loader, plastic carrying case and a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
Intended for use with suppressors, the TP9SFT comes equipped with a threaded 13.5x1mm left-hand twist, match grade barrel, and Warren Tactical, suppressor-friendly sights with a fiber optic front sight. The TP9SFT also includes a loaded chamber indicator, striker status indicator and reversible magazine release.
Upgrade Your Existing TP9SF
If you already own a TP9, Century also announced an upgrade package is in the works. Specifically, the TP9SFT’s threaded barrel and suppressor height sights will be available soon for those customers that already own a TP9SF, but wish to upgrade it for use with a suppressor.
