Kahr Arms Group & Outlaw Ordnance Tag Team to Produce "We The People" Desert Eagle 1911
The Kahr Arms Group has collaborated with Outlaw Ordnance to produce a limited run of a one-of-a-kind Desert Eagle 1911. This 1911 is emblazoned with a special cerakote finish, custom features and is being dubbed the “We The People” Desert Eagle 1911 CSS.
The cerakote job that is so pronounced on this model is a melding of black and titanium colors with a final clear coat finish to complete it. Specifically, on the left-hand side “We The People” can be read from a deep laser engraving. On the right-hand side the 2nd Amendment phrase of “our right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” can be read as well.
The grips on this “We The People” Desert Eagle 1911 CSS are also unique by showing roughly 40 different signatures from the Constitution.
A limited, 1st production run of only 50 pistols are going to be made out of the Magnum Research, Inc custom shop. The MSRP for this .45 ACP is slated for $1,225. An essential rundown of specifications can be read below.
- Ships w/ Two 8-Round Magazines
- Skeletonized Hammer
- Extended Magazine Release
- Extended Thumb Safety
- Checkered, Flat Mainspring Housing made from Aluminum
- S/S Full-Length Guide Rod
- 4.33″ Bushingless Barrel
- Overall Length 7.87″
- Slide Width 1.28″
- Height 5.25″
- Weight 33.9 Ounces
- SIngle-Action Trigger Pull 3-4 Lbs.

- Dovetailed Front Sight Blade w/ Horizontal Serrations
This is a Series 70 model 1911 configuration. It also houses an enlarged ejection port and beveled magazine well.
This pistol was debuted at SHOT Show 2018 by the Kahr Arms Group specifically in the Kahr Arms booth.
The contrast of titanium components versus black cerakoted pieces and an antiqued looking finish give this pistol a pretty high score on curb appeal. With the heavy bull barrel, overtravel stop and aluminum trigger the accuracy should be nearly equal as well.
At an entry fee of $1,225 and only 50 being initially produced, will you be a buyer?…

The Desert Eagle 1911 45acp is actually a very accurate 1911. Kimber and BUL a company in Israel made the original Kimbers, which were very fine pistols. They got into a pissing contest, and Magnum Research contracted with BUL to make the almost same pistol (Kimber) as the Desert Eagle 1911. My Desert Eagle was very accurate. The trigger was the lightest trigger on a gun I have ever owned. Almost like a hair trigger. Very very accurate. The Kahr Arms Group which is a great company bought Magnum Research I believe.
So just because an Israeli company was the on-and-off manufacturer of Desert Eagles, now anything made in Israel can have "Desert Eagle" in the name?
