FFD – Fast Fire Device Simulates Full Auto For Glock

Here is an interesting device but it is shrouded in mystery. Colin Despins of Max Venom Product Group has a crowdfunding campaign to sell the Fast Fire Device (FFD). At the surface level, it looks like a Glock burst firing.

Here is the video they have on their Indiegogo page. It does not show what is being sold and just shows someone shooting a Glock fast. There are only two instances where it fired a few rounds in the video.

Here is their overview:

Bump-fire is an established legal mode of operation for producing a full-auto-like rate of fire from a semi-automatic firearm. It does not make for more effective weapon. The vast majority of individuals who want to own such a device just want to enjoy just a bit of full auto like fun. Many affordable alternatives to expensive, legally-transferable machine guns, have found their way to market. Most of these devices require modification of the host firearm in order to function. UNTIL NOW!

And here is their story:

My name is Colin Despins, I specialize in edged weapons and tactical innovation. My work has been featured in major publications including SWAT, Blade and Recoil magazine. Knives are a big part of my world. But not just knives, firearms and all things related.

Like many of you, I am enthused by the variety of products that have come to market and managed to pass the (unwarranted) scrutiny and regulation of the BATFE. Such innovations have given me great hope for the future of firearm-freedom in our country. UNTIL NOW..

Over the past two years I have been involved in developing a device of my own. A device that will deliver (legal) full-auto-like joy to the freedom-loving masses.

I hope you have enjoyed our brief video demonstration, which illustrates just a fraction of what the device is capable of.

Whats special about it? Well, if you have to ask..

For one, this exciting new fast fire device (FFD-H) can be readily ADDED and REMOVED from the host firearm in seconds and without any tools.

For two, the FFD-H allows for a HANDGUN to achieve a full auto like rate of fire!

Currently, the FFD-H is optimized for use with a Glock 17, or full size Lone Wolf Frame. (The FFD-H may be modified by the end user to work with a tremendous variety of other host weapons. We simply don’t have the time find out which.)

For as much as I would like to sit back and further develop the fast fire handgun device, modify and tune it to work with more firearms, before bringing it to market, there are politicians scrambling at the opportunity to take away our firearm related freedoms.. and thats frustrating.

So today I decided, F*ckit, I’m crowdfunding this thing!

Now may be your LAST CHANCE to get ahead of the power curve on anti-fun/anti-gun legislation.

Please join us in supporting our campaign, today!

PS – There will be more sneak peeks to come of the fast fire device in action on our instagram. So, give us a follow at Max_Venom_Product_Group

Special Note – In no event shall Max Venom (MaxVenom.com), or any agents of Max Venom, be held liable for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of this product. By backing this project the user/purchaser agrees to hold harmless Max Venom, indefinitely.

So I still don’t know what the FFD does. The image at the very top is on their Indiegogo page and I assume it is the actual FFD-H device. I suspect this device goes into the trigger guard and is pushing the trigger. I think this device somehow allows you to bump fire a Glock.

They are keeping the FFD-H pretty close to the chest until release. Here is the only other video I could find, which was on their Instagram account.

Take a look at their Indiegogo page. Do you know how this works?

One person's toy is another one's crowd-blaster. I can understand why the folks at IGG closed the campaign. What happened to common-sense and thoughtfulness?

Remember the old adage - "Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD" ?

Have we not learned ANYTHING from this past year?

First, turning civilian weapons into simulated full auto is just wrong. Only two types of people want this feature, people that did not have the courage to swear the oath, or were denied entry, and crazies. Full auto is a feature designed for warfare, nothing else. Even in the military, there are few occasions for full auto and for the most part this is used by specific weapons systems for specific purposes, mainly to pin down the enemy so our forces can out maneuver and overwhelm, or to create an egress opportunity. Weapons like the M240bravo, or M2 are the weapons of choice for this. Even my standard issue Colt M4 14.5in fluted carbine did not feature full auto select, this was back when only select units fielded this rifle and full auto was eventually added for some rifles, usually those in SF. Today, the Armies M4 may have full auto, I don't really know, but it still should be reserved for military and in some very rare instances, some police units.

These aftermarket add on's only hurt 2nd Amendment supporters, just like the idiot open carry clowns that walk into a police station with a loader AR (Armalite Rifle) strapped to their backs.

If you want full auto and you can't join the military, if you have nothing to hide, then suck it up and get a class 3 license. These aftermarket gadgets are doing far more damage to the integrity of law abiding gun owners. Firing a glock in full auto is stupid and pointless anyway, there is absolutely no situation that calls for such a fire rate. Stop making this garbage and creating entirely new indefensible positions for those of us who have served and gotten rid of the "full auto" bug long ago. You can rent full auto from some ranges as well.

Don't get me wrong, I am an absolute gun rights advocate but in these times, we need to make sure we are not making our position unduly difficult to defend, and these gadgets add a hefty burden that we don't need. When asked why these gadgets, bump stocks etc are in line with the Constitution there is no good answer.

I am a 19Delta,Cavalry Scout, if anyone can enlighten me as too why these add on full auto gadgets are needed, please do so.

@Anthony "stalker6recon" Does the taste of leather ever linger in your mouth from all that boot licking?
