Leaper's/UTG Brings New Products to SHOT Show 2018
Leaper’s/UTG has come a LONG way since the days of airsoft parts and accessories. From their versatile handguards to their after-market stocks, the company has grown by leaps and bounds since it’s creation by a Taiwanese police officer who fell in love with the American dream in 1992.
This year at SHOT Show, they brought a few new products for 2018.
New for SHOT Show 2018
The first new item in the Leaper’s booth was the new 100% titanium barrel nut.
With no release date, nor MSRP, Leaper’s employee Bo Chen suggested that the titanium barrel nut would become an option on any of the handguards available for a slightly higher pricepoint. Chen also suggested customers would have the ability to purchase the barrel nut separately for existing Leaper’s handguards (but nothing set in stone as of yet).
With a new handguard for the H&K 416 also coming soon (again, no MSRP yet – photo below) and a beautiful new lightweight handguard coming to production soon (as seen in the featured image on this article, along with the titanium barrel nut), Leaper’s plans to take affordable AR-15 parts to a whole new level!
Also new for SHOT Show 2018 was a new pistol buffer tube, compatible with the Gear Head Works Tailhook (Brace).
The new fixed rifle-length buttstock also looks to be like a great addition to the Leaper’s lineup.
The scope rings are available in a variety of colors, in either single ring or two-piece designs:
Leaper’s/UTG also revealed their super slim 45 degree offset sights.
Note the TOOLESS option for the A2-style front sight. No more searching for that long-lost AR sight tool!
*Correction – UTG/Leaper’s offers the pistol buffer tube to work with the Gear Head Works Tailhook Brace and does not manufacturer the brace itself.

That stock looks quite nice.
I'd be curious as to what you'd mount on the rail other than a monopod. I think it might be worth considering a version without the rail section to save weight.
If the Leapers, Inc guys are still reading through the comments:
1. Does the current plan for the stock have a cover for the rail?
2. If not, any plans for a rail free version of the stock?
3. Any general ideas on when the stock will hit the market?
4. How much does the stock weigh?
5. Will it be made in your US facility?
Any AK products ?
