TFBTV Hits 400,000 Subscribers!

Lately, TFBTV has made a habit of hitting significant landmarks on significant holidays. On New Year’s Eve 2017/18, TFBTV crossed the 100 million view threshold. Right on the heels of this achievement, Mardi Gras Day, February 13, 2018, TFBTV earned its 400,000th subscriber. Miles, Andrew, Corey, Mike, and James all appreciate your continued support and viewership of what has become perhaps the most versatile gun channel on YouTube.

In addition to the usual content, TFBTV’s SHOT Show coverage was more thorough than ever this year, with over 110 videos produced and published during the show and in the week following the show, and over 3 million views. Not bad for a channel that aired its first video ever during SHOT Show 2015.

As Billy Mays would have said: “but wait, there’s more!” TFBTV has more projects in the works that we really want to talk about now, but we have to wait until more pieces fall into place. TFBTV has always been a dynamic project, and it has been this willingness to evolve that has been the most vital component to TFBTV’s rapid growth. We hope to keep bringing you more of the same content that you already watch, but we’re also constantly rolling out new types of content to see what resonates with you, the viewer.

Our subscribers are as important as ever as TFBTV grapples with the new reality of YouTube; where gun-related content is placed in a “restricted” category (interestingly, most gun videos are tagged or demonetized as “Tragedy and Conflict”). This means that TFBTV and other gun YouTubers have less reach than they used to, and get paid far, far less per view. In TFBTV’s case, 2018 TFBTV earns about 1/6th of the ad revenue per view as 2016 TFBTV. Fortunately, TFBTV’s Patreon supporters have helped TFBTV stay afloat (see www.patreon.com/tfbtv) and TFBTV continues to grow as a result.

In any case, our sincere thanks to the viewers, the subscribers, our Patreon Supporters, and our long-time partners at VenturaMunitions.com. We do it for you, and we couldn’t do it without you.
