Ingenious Weapon Stock for Ballistic Helmets From BCB International

BCB International, a British security and survival manufacturer based in Cardiff, Wales, will debut their ingenious FRAMM adjustable and foldable weapon stock at SHOT Show 2018. The FRAMM stock is designed to be used with ballistic helmets with visors.

The FRAMM weighs 400g / 14oz and has a central sliding hinge point which allows it to be set in 9 different positions ranging from conventional stock alignment to those suited to use with various visors or respirators. This allows the weapon to be used in a variety of rolls with one stock, allowing the user to attain a cheek weld when not wearing equipment that makes conventional stocks difficult to use. This takes the position of the buttpad through a height travel of up to 20cm 7.8 inches.

BCB’s system is certainly ingenious and appears to offer versatility that other stocks, including Heckler & Koch’s own cranked MP5 buttstock, lack.

BCB’s FRAMM can be fitted to firearms from a variety of manufacturers including FN, CZ, Beretta, Heckler & Koch, B&T and SIG Sauer. You can find more information about the stock on BCB’s website here and read their press release below:

A versatile rifle stock that enables operatives to discharge their firearms while wearing a ballistic helmet with the visor fully lowered will be unveiled for the first time in the United States at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas (23 – 26 January).

163 year old Cardiff-based survival equipment manufacturers, BCB International Ltd, will be exhibiting on their stand (6606) the FRAMM®, an adjustable and foldable stock that allows end users to comfortably discharge their firearms in all firing positions.

BCB International’s International Sales Officer, Paul Ames, said:  “The FRAMM® is good news for security professionals, airsofters and rifle enthusiasts.  It is compatible with most in service firearms. Its rubberized non-slip stock pad maximizes comfort and firing stability.  It also offers nine position settings to conform to any body and ballistic visor shapes.  The FRAMM® is the stock for all firing positions.”

    The FRAMM® is compatible with the following firearms: FN HERSTAL-SCAR, HK-MP5 A2, BERETTA-ARX 160, HK-MP5K-PDW, HK-G36, B&T-40×46, REMINGTON-ACR, CZ-805 A1 BREN, SIG SAUER-550/551.., B&T-APC556, HK-UMP.

BCB International will exhibit the FRAMM® on its stand (6606).
