New AlphaWolf Pistol Caliber Carbine from Lone Wolf Distributors

    Lone Wolf PCC

Lone Wolf Distributors officially announced the company was introducing a new pistol caliber carbine (PCC) in .45 ACP. This new gun is called the AlphaWolf Pistol Caliber Carbine and is completely different from the existing G9 pistols and carbines the company already manufactures.

The new rifle looks like a typical AR style PCC. However, this gun does not use a straight blowback action. Instead, it has a short stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt assembly. This should eat up some of the felt recoil (not that there is much in a PCC) and use a standard weight buffer. Standard AR/M4 trigger groups can be used in these guns.

Both the upper and lower are made of 6061-T6 aluminum. A 16″ threaded barrel is standard. Lone Wolf is using a full length handguard with M-LOK attachment points for these guns.

Since this is a Lone Wolf product, you may have guessed that this rifle feeds from a Glock magazine. You would be correct, if so. A 13-round magazine is included.

Rumors of this new gun started a few weeks ago, and the company now has a pre-order sales page up. First run pricing is $874.95. With each new run, the company will increase the sales price by $100 until it reaches the full retail price of $1,174.95. The first run is expected to ship in February of 2018.
