R and R Targets – The Wright 12 Shotgun closer to delivery

We have reported about the R and R Target’s Wright 12 Shotgun development before, but there’s now more to tell.

Below you can see a collection of pictures as the production parts arrive to assembly.

Below are stock adapters for the new shotgun. A lot of smaller parts are also in production.

New Picatinny rail stock adapter for the Wright 12. This can be used with the new folding stock or you can hang the shotgun off of a single point sling without a stock.

First production run of barrels for the Wright 12. The first Wright 12 shotguns are expected to ship around Christmas. .

Almost finish with the first 50 receivers. Locking lugs are being machined now. I presume those shorter barrels are for the “Master Key” configuration.

As parts are coming back from anodizing things are starting to look “real”.

The RW00014 and RW00024. Who wouldn’t like to have their own Firearm with your own initials in the series numbering? The tan anodizing came out really nicely.

Below you can see the new Wright 12 shotgun in its hard case in the “Master Key” configuration.

This type of configuration is specifically designed for breaching doors. Within about 5 minutes it can be transformed into a full-blown Open Shotgun for competition.

It looks like there’s an AR15 trigger, safety and pistol grip installed.

It will be interesting to see the results at SHOT Show 2018. The Wright 12 may be too long, why not dub it the W12 Shotgun?
