I have to wonder if the Army will actually end up acquiring these guns. Putting a 30mm on the Striker platform should have been done years ago, but I have my doubts about their ability to actually knuckle down and do that. More often than not, once the leadership actually goes over the logistical rescaling and necessary maintenance changes to
the current organizational structure, they shrug their shoulders and decide it's not worth the effort. Not to mention the fact that the organizational planners in the military as a whole are clearly ASVAB waivers.
Whoever was responsible for the current set up of Army brigade combat teams should be abandoned on a desert island.
These guys also launched their Cygnus spacecraft two days ago to the ISS. They will be berthing today.
