October 22nd (10/22) is RUGER DAY!!!
Ruger Day is not only coming, it has arrived! Today is October 22nd. If you break that down into a shorthand date of 10/22 you get one of the most widely loved and utilized rimfire rifles in history. Ruger firearms has officially declared October 22nd (10/22) as the official day of Ruger paying homage to their historically-phenomenal, rimfire rifle.
Ruger sent out an e-mail to all of its loyal customers, distributors, FFLs, friends and family helping to relay the message to everyone:
October 22 has long held a special place in the hearts of Ruger fans nationwide for our ubiquitous 10/22®. Beginning this year, October 22 will now be declared Ruger Day! Show us how you celebrate Ruger Day by using #rugerday and #1022 in your social posts. Stay tuned for more information on how you can show your Ruger pride for the inaugural Ruger Day!
So while before today, October 22nd might have just been a random day before we dress up like zombies and crawl to different pubs, now it will be remembered as a day of Ruger!

did they seriously declare their own holiday?
Just recognized as the 'FIREARMS MANUFACTURER OF THE THE YEAR' (2017) for the 11th consecutive time. Must be doing something right. As you might have guessed, it is my favorite brand by a large margin.
