Trijicon Releases 4-16×50 Accupoint Scope

Trijicon, known for their various firearms optics including the venerable ACOG, the diminuitive RMR, and pistol iron sights, has announced the release of their latest variable power scope. The new 4-16×50 Accupoint is a mid-power offering slowly expanding the Accupoint line from must-have niche products to a full-line brand.

Like other Accupoint optics, the 4-16×50 is powered by both fiber optics and radioactive tritium. The fiber optic collection is on the top of the eyepiece and is fully adjustable by the user. The tritium powers the optic only when there is insufficient ambient light through the collector.

Outside the dual-illumination feature, the Accupoint is a well-apportioned scope. The main body is 30mm, with a 50mm objective lens. Turrets are either .1 MILs or .25 MOA, depending on the reticle selected. Further, the optic features side-adjustable parallax to bring the focal planes together. Sadly, the reticles are second focal plane only.

Speaking of reticles, customers are able to choose from have six of Trijicon’s most popular reticle/turret arrangements to choose from: “…including the classic duplex crosshair (green), MOA-dot crosshair (green), MIL-dot crosshair (green), and triangle post (red, green, or amber). Each is in the 2nd focal plane, offering pinpoint accuracy at any magnification.”

All Accupoint 4-16×50 reticle options retail for $1,399. They are available now through Trijicon’s dealer network.
