Get Ready Retailers, S&W Just Doubled Down On The Rebates With M&P Summer Savings Promotion

It seems that Smith & Wesson Shields just don’t stay in stock long at any retailer with the current round of promotions that are currently being offered for Smith pistols. The response has been nothing short of impressive, but that wasn’t enough for Smith, they decided to double down with the newly launched M&P Summer Savings mail-in rebate program. Not only is the Shield eligible for the rebate, but also the M&P full-size pistols (both the original design and the M2.0) and the M&P Compacts as well.

I know that the original $75 mail in rebate pushed a lot of buyers toward the Shield specifically since it only worked out to about $200 after the rebate came back. I imagine that the bulk of the rebates redeemed were for Shield purchases.

So what makes the new rebate different? They are no longer offering a blanket $75 rebate on the eligible firearms, but will only be offering that to consumers that live in areas that restrict magazine capacities or ammunition transfers. Everyone that is not affected by those terms will be given two boxes of Hornady Critical Defense ammo, two additional M&P magazines, and a Caldwell Mag Charger universal pistol loader. Smith states that the rebate package has an MSRP of about $180.

The rebate will run from July 1st, 2017 till October 31, 2017. If you would like more information, please check out the Smith & Wesson M&P Summer Savings page.
