MAXIM 9 Holsters | SHOT 2017

At the SilencerCo booth, they have two holsters for the MAXIM 9. One looks and functions like a Blackhawk Serpa and they have a custom molded Kydex holster. These were made to dispel ideas that the Maxim 9 is too big to be holstered. AIWB holsters on the other hand might not work.
Also I spoke with Willie of SilencerCo and she told me that the Morse Code texture are SilencerCo slogans like “Fight The Noise” and other suppressor related phrases.

I applaud them for going outside the box, but SilencerCo is not known for making high quality handguns. If this thing breaks or they have a recall, it will be SilencerCo's R51.
I also like the idea of being able to take the silencer off and still retain the ability of the firearm functioning. If the silencer end takes a shit you'll have a great paperweight until they find a fix.
Furthermore after what SilencerCo just did to their optics division I'm not sure I want to do business with them anymore. I mean really...not even a 2 week notice, or option to move....very reminiscent of Freedom Group type plant consolidations.
