If you are one of the buyers that bought or plans on buying the new Smith & Wesson M&P 45 Shield that was announced during NRA Show a few months ago so far you have been out of luck when it comes to the plethora of accessories that Shield owners have become accustomed to. But if you are one of those that wants to get your hands on a laser, you are in luck.

LaserMax, one of the leading companies in the the weapon mounted laser market, has announced they are releasing a trigger guard mounted laser specifically made for the new single stack .45. It appears that LaserMax has paid close attention to rounding and blending the edges of the laser unit to ensure that users still maintain the smooth draw they expect from a concealed carry gun.

Initially being offered in a red laser only variant, the CF-SHIELD-45 will be priced at a modest $149 with a street price undoubtedly being a bit lower than that. LaserMax is currently taking preorders for the new laser and will be shipping the first units to those on the list around the first week of September.
