Ruger Hawkeye FTW Hunter Rifle

Sturm, Ruger & Co. announced a new line of hunting rifles at the recent National Rifle Association Annual Meetings event held in Kentucky. The new rifles are the Hawkeye FTW Hunter models. As the name suggests, these guns were designed for hunting and were developed with the instructors at the FTW Ranch in Texas. These guns are considered all weather and all terrain rifles.

The cold hammer forged barrels are made of stainless steel and have a matte stainless finish. The barrels are threaded and come equipped with a brake to tame recoil. If you do not want to shoot with a brake, Ruger also includes a muzzle weight to maintain the same feel without altering the point of impact. The company also includes a thread protector if you want neither muzzle device.
