New Pachmayr Grips for 2016

    Pachmayr Grips

For 2016, Pachmayr announced three new groups of handgun grips: the Renegade revolver grips, Renegade pistol grips and a line of G-10 Tactical pistol grips. Here is a look at each of them.

    Renegade Revolver Grips

The Renegade line uses wood laminate stocks for a classic look and feel. Pachmayr offers the grips in both highly polished rosewood and polished charcoal silvertone. Stock surfaces can be either smooth or checkered to best fit your needs. Checkering is handled by a CNC machine.

Currently, Pachmayr anticipates offering the grips for Smith & Wesson revolvers only. As time goes on, I would not be surprised to see the grips offered for other manufacturers as well. Sizes include the J-, K-, L- and N-frames. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $44.98.

    Renegade Pistol Grips

As you might expect, these grips are similar to the revolver versions. The same color and surface options are available. However, the pricing is substantially less: only $29.98 for these. Fits include:

    • 1911 Government
    • Ruger Mk II, III
    • Beretta 92
    • CZ 75/85
    • Ruger 22/45
    • SIG P238
    • SIG P938

    G-10 Tactical Pistol Grips

If you are looking for durable, synthetic grips, you may be interested in the new G-10 grips from Pachmayr. As many shooters may know, G-10 is an epoxy laminate that tends to be very strong and durable. It is used in a variety of applications including knives and pistol grips. These new panelsĀ are available in different colors and grip patterns. The MSRP is $44.98.
