In yet another “what can I add a piece of brass to, to make it cool” product,” The Mighty Pen Company has expanded its brass oriented product line to include .50 cal razors. Offered in two versions: a double-edge straight razor, and a Gillette Mach 3 adapter, the .50 Caliber BMG is ready for ones Big Manly Goatee.
Not to leave women from the fray, there is a women’s version with the brass pink cerakoted and compatible with Venus razors.
In all seriousness, I love the marketing shtick. I mean, its appealing blatantly to one’s tactical side:
A military man is required to always be clean shaven. Let us help here at the MIGHTY PEN co by making your shaving experience one where you can feel secure in knowing you have the right ammunition for the job.
Which means it appeals to me… While the pink cerakoted version is not for me, I do use Mach 3 razors, so I have already forwarded my wife this as a birthday gift. Both the razor versions retail for $59.95.
I also asked her for the companion 20mm Badger Hair Shaving Brush (also $59.95). If I am going to go all shaving tactical, might as well get the cream brush too. That said, my latent US Marine training will demand that I keep the brass polished. Good thing I STILL have a can of Brass-O…
