GY6 Plays With NEMO Arms OMEN Watchman 2.0

Now getting deep into his quest to provide the entertainment value of FPS Russia (without the accent) and actually provide some actual solid information on a product, Andrew at GY6Vids is one of the first to get their hands on the NEMO Arms OMEN Watchman 2.0 semi automatic 300 Winchester Magnum rifle. (He also did an excellent DP-12 review).

The thing I appreciate the about Andrew is that he takes the time to explain the features of a rifle, which is a fantastic piece of kit. The NEMO Watchman 2.0 features a Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped barrel at a fast 1/8 twist (ideal for many of the heavier bullets). Built around the barrel is a magazine fed semi auto chassic featuring a right-hand reciprocating bolt. For optics and accessories, a full-length 20 MOA rail ensures long-range optic potential while the handguard features M-LOK across the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock sides.

The video is replete with entertaining explosions (propane + flares = fun!) along with plenty of other fun tidbits including testing with the rifle at 500 yards. The long-range footage is awesome to watch with the bullet trails visible even at short distances.

My only disappointment in the video was the accuracy testing, which showed a rifle that has a propensity to “throw” the first shot (which can also be due to swapping rounds). Typical accuracy testing should give a barrel at least two rounds (and then let it cool) when switching bullet types.

Just a few watermelons, 2 liters, and flares died making this video…
