New Grips from Wilson Combat
Wilson Combat announced the release of several new pistol grip sets. Four of the grips are made of G10 and are designed for the Beretta 92 and 96 series handguns. One of the new grip sets is made of wood and designed for the 1911 platform pistol.
Beretta Grips
All of the new Beretta grips are made of G10 and were purposefully designed to be “ultra thin.” According to Wilson Combat, these are supposed to be the thinnest grips available for the Beretta 90-series pistols. Each of the grip panels is aggressively textured.
Four different color patterns are available: dirty olive, gray/black, black and black cherry. Each of the grip panels has the company’s logo in the grips in the form of a medallion. All of the grip sets retail for $81.95.
1911 Grips
The 1911 grip set is designed for full size guns. Wilson Combat used a burl wood with a smooth texture and includes a gold medallion with the company’s own logo. The grip panels are cut for an ambidextrous safety and have a scallop cut at the magazine release. They weigh about 1.8 ounces. The price on these is $134.95.
Wilson Combat has a long history of making high end 1911 pistols, rifles and shotguns as well as parts and customizations to each. The addition of the Beretta parts to the company’s line up is fairly recent, but appears to have been well received.

VZ grips already rattle around on Berettas with the thinness. The oring they provide is a terrible solution as then the grip floats. Unless WC solved this, hard pass as you're just paying extra for VZ grips.
Beautiful, but way over priced!
