Plano Molding Company has released a number of new products for the coming year. Here are a few of the products that may be of interest to readers:

Green All Weather Double Rifle Case

This new case is large enough to hold a pair of scoped rifles or shotguns. The interior is foam lined and designed to be custom fitted to your guns. The lid has a Dri-Loc gasket to keep out the rain, though it is not rated as being submergible. The case does have wheels for easy transportation.

Hunting Stool

Plano is also selling a hunting stool made from its #1812 field box. To the box, the company added a seat cushion, carry strap and exterior pockets. The idea is to combine a seat with storage. Plano did something similar in 2015 with the box, though without the seat.

Compact Crossbow Case

For crossbow enthusiasts, Plano now offers the Spire Compact Crossbow Case. This hard plastic case has multiple carry handles and heavy duty latches for transport and storage. The case will stand on its side to fit tighter confines. The interior has foam padding, and there are hasps on the exterior for securing the case with a padlock. Although they will fit, I think this case is a touch of overkill for these mini crossbows.

Field Locker Medium Pistol Case

This case is designed to be very heavy duty and is said to meet mil-spec for immersion, transit drop, vibration and dust. It has a Dri-Loc gasket and a pressure release valve. It uses stainless steel hasps for locking points.
