New Archangel 10/22 Stocks

Archangel Manufacturing will introduce a number of new 10/22 stocks at the 2016 SHOT Show. These new stocks are variants on the company’s existing 10/22 stock: the AAP1022 that was introduced at the 2015 SHOT Show.

The new stocks are functionally the same as the existing black stock, but are now available in new colors. The new colors are:

    • plinker purple,
    • bullseye blue,
    • olive drab,
    • ringmaster red, and
    • desert tan.

As with the original black stock, these are designed for easy installation and will work with both the 10-round and extended Ruger magazines. In fact, the polymer stock has a flared well for easier magazine insertion.

The stocks weigh approximately 2.5 pounds and give the shooter both length of pull and cheek height adjustments. The butt end of the stock has a rubber cushion. On the underside of the forend, Archangel Manufacturing built in a Picatinny type rail. The company includes a soft cover for the rail.

The stock has a goose neck style pistol grip, and the grip has a storage compartment inside of it. There are four steel inserts that serve as quick attachment points for a sling.

A suggested retail price has not yet been announced, but I would expect it to be the same or fairly close to the price of the existing black stock: $132.99.
