Talo Group Distributors teamed up with Mossberg and Advanced Technology International (ATI) to design and release the Mossberg 500 ATI Scorpion shotgun.

Based on the Mossberg 500 platform, the new gun is outfitted with a variety of ATI gear to appeal to shooters looking for a variety of add ons out of the box. Possibly the most important aspect of the gun is the ATI T2 TactLite adjustable stock. The stock allows for six different lengths of pull, which can make the gun easier to shoulder for people of varying sizes. The stock uses the company’s Scorpion recoil reduction pad and adds a 1″ adjustable cheek riser. The pistol grip also uses the ATI Scorpion material for additional recoil mitigation.

An ATI heat shield is used on the gun, and a pair of 2″ Picatinny rails are added near the muzzles on the sides of the gun. The rails allow for the addition of a light or other accessory.

Also included on the gun is the ATI Add-A-Shell unit that puts additional shotgun shells close at hand for reloading. A removable Picatinny rail for an optic is attached to the top of the unit. An ATI Akita forend is also used on this scattergun.

These 12 gauge shotguns hold a total of six 2.75″ shells. The MSRP is $644. Talo is one of just several companies that commissions special runs of guns from manufacturers.

Pistol grip on a mossberg just never works for me. It moves your thumb to a place that's nowhere near the safety switch.

Mossberg.... the cheapest most gaudy over priced garbage in a major manufacturer that continues to go down hill.
