Jingle Bells: .22LR Edition

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. As we all know, after Thanksgiving we move quickly into the Christmas season. It’s a great time to buy your friends and family some great gifts, and hopefully you’ll also be on the receiving end of some great gun swag.

What better way to celebrate than by shooting some classic Christmas songs on the Musical Targets system? If you haven’t seen any of my earlier videos, the Musical Targets is a set of metal plates that are tuned so that when you shoot them, they emit a musical tone. I’m looking to shoot a variety of songs to appeal to a broad swath of viewers.

You can use many calibers to vary the fun. I’ve found that .22LR produces a good balance of gun shot + musical tone, but I’m planning to use 9mm, .45ACP, and .223 down the line.

I view the Musical Targets as a great way to get more people interested in firearms as it shows how guns can be safe, fun, and family-friendly. The Musical Targets team includes a free booklet with many popular songs already spelled out, so even if you’re not a musician, anyone can shoot to play many fun songs.

Without further ado, here’s Jingle Bells: .22LR Edition. If you have any holiday song requests, please hit me up in the comments below!
