Bass Pro 2015 Black Friday Deals

2016 Deals Here.

Black Friday is a week away and it would not be Black Friday for me without SlickGuns giving us a roundup of all the firearm, ammunition, optics and accessory deals. This is an especially important Black Friday, being the last one before the 2016 Presidential Elections. With the elections being held a few weeks before next year’s Black Friday, I don’t hold much hope of great deals next year if an anti-gun (or even a non-pro-gun) President is elected from either party, instead I would expect people buying as much as they can at whatever prices retailers and manufacturers choose to sell at, which is what happened after the 2008 and 2012 elections (I am not making a political statement, this is just how the gun market works in this country).

Here are just some of the deals I took note of:

One of the best deals I have spotted is a $100 mail-in rebate for Remington Golden Sabre, that combined with some other coupons can get you a 250 round box for $48 !!!

Cabela’s has $100 mail-in rebate coupons for Leupold scopes.

Dick’s has a basic Ruger 10/22 for $199 (about $60 off), which is a perfect starting point to build your ultimate Ruger 10/22, as well as a minimum ~10% off all guns $1000 and under.

I am a huge Zeiss scope fan. The glass is amazing. Cabelas has a VERY tempting offer on a high-end 3-15x Zeiss Conquest. I **really** need a scope in this zoom range, and this price puts it within the I-can-just-about-afford-it price price range.

So what will you be buying …

Bought the pistol a few weeks back, bought new grips for one Sunday (Pre-Blk Friday Sale), bought the Ammo last night (Remington Rebate), now I can enjoy my day at work on Black Friday and won't have to fight crowds in the morning before I work : ) Hope Everyone has a Marvelous Thanksgiving!

Meh. With the cost of ammo and knowing that I should replace what I shoot, I've been going less and less. I'm not paying these ridiculous costs for ammo.

The jackasses sleeping on beds made of 250,000 rounds of .22LR or standing outside of a sporting goods store at 4 AM with their friends to buy up all the .22LR bricks and sell them on Gunbroker for $45 can go pound sand. I'm not going to put up with that nonsense. It's been months since I've been the range and if paying those prices to indulge in my hobby is necessary, then I'm just going to spend it on firearm accessories and knives then. Ammo scalpers can go to hell.
