Fireworks For Weapons Training

Baret Fawbush posted this on instagram. He uses fireworks to elevate his stress level while engaging steel targets. I think this is rather clever. Albeit, there is always an element of danger when handling or using fireworks. There is a risk of catching one of those in the face. But he is wearing eye and ear protection. For raising one’s solo training, the use of fireworks as an opposing force’s weapon, seems rather effective. Yes, we all know fireworks are nothing like firearms. However other than playing airsoft or simunition games that require another live individual as an opponent, this offers a shooter something random to react to and you don’t need a friend to help stand down range of live fire.

This guy is a moron and will be used by the antis as a bludgeon against those of us who use a bit of sanity in our training.
as long as you're wearing decent clothing, eye protection, and a paintball mask if you really want to (I'd also wear a hat, because I don't want my gorgeous hair burnt off) I don't see a lot of danger here.
