Tactical Rx releases new Mt. Falcon shooting frame (for Prescription Lenses)

Last year Tim Y reviewed the prescription shooting glasses manufactured by Tactical RX. They are very high quality shooting glasses at a very reasonable price (in my opinion). The only reason I don’t own a pair is that my one eye vision is very poor, making curved lenses far too bulky to fit into sport frames (so I have to wear contact lenses for shooting which I hate). Anyway, enough about me …

Tactical Rx had just announced a new frame manufactured by their parent company Sports Optical. Here is the press release …

Denver, CO – Custom prescription sport lenscrafter Tactical Rx has released their Mt. Falcon performance eyewear frame. Made of TR-90 material, the frame is lightweight, durable and safe. It is ANSI z87-rated and has passed mil-spec PRF 31013 testing. The Mt. Falcon features an open-bottom frame style which reduces fogging and sheds weight, and also has adjustable, rubber-coated nose and temple pieces ensuring a snug, comfortable fit. Lenses are crafted in 8-base curvature, which helps protect the eye from sun, wind and debris. For prescription wearers, Tactical Rx crafts custom prescription lenses offering fully-functional peripheral vision for exceptional performance and protection.”

The MSRP is $109 and it’s available via our website (www.TacticalRx.com) or by calling (303) 455-3369.

I met the company’s chief lens maker some years ago at SHOT Show. He is a very passionate guy who knows everything there is to know about custom-made prescription lenses. I don’t hesitate to recommend Tactical RX to shooters.
