E.R. Shaw Custom Rifles and Barrels

E.R. Shaw was another recommended stop for me at SHOT. If you haven’t heard of them, they are a family owned business that has been making barrels for over 100 years. Their barrels are used by “some of the biggest firearms manufacturers”, and they also custom build rifles.

They didn’t really have anything new this year, but they did have some of their custom built rifles on display (the newest thing they have is the Mark VII VS Custom). The ones that really caught my eye were the ones with their helical fluted barrels (which they are now in the process of trademarking).

They have a huge list of options that can be selected when building out a custom rifle (the Mark VII VS for example).

Do any of you have a custom built rifle from them? Thoughts? Kudos? Complaints?
