Weekend Photos: Police Surplus FEG AP-MBP

    SteveInVA writes …

This pistol is an FEG AP-MBP. Essentially, it is a Walther PP clone in .32 ACP (7.65 Browning or 7.63×17 for our European friends) with an aluminum frame. Made in Budapest, Hungary, it is police surplus, and shoots surprisingly well for having such tiny sights. Very well made, and could fit my hand better if it were a bespoke, $5000 Olympic pistol. $200 well spent.

The Walther PPK, a smaller version of the PP, remains one of my favorite pistols, even if the round it shoots, the same .32 ACP as its bigger brother, is a little light for even my standards (If you have read this blog for a long time you know I famously and unfashionably prefer lighter rounds like the 9mm Luger/Parabellum over more modern firecrackers).
