Crimson Trace LG-489G Green Laser for S&W Shield

Crimson Trace just announced their new LG-489G Green Laserguard for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield. As with their other Laserguard line of lasers their new LG-489G attaches to the trigger guard of the S&W Shield. It also features Crimson Trace’s proprietary Instinctive Activation button which activates the laser when the gun “is held in a natural firing grip”. The LG-489G installs easily with no gunsmithing required and is powered by a 1/3N battery. The laser is also adjustable for windage and elevation. It retails for $299 and is expected to be available next month.

This newest Laserguard® will feature a green diode and is designed to fit securely and unobtrusively onto the trigger guards of the popular polymer-framed M&P SHIELD™ pistols.

The LG-489G will feature Crimson Trace’s proprietary Instinctive Activation switch for instant on/off and will be powered by a 1/3N battery.
