WWII Veteran Sniper Still Has Perfect Aim

This video is from 2011.  Ted Gundy is a WWII Veteran. On top of that, he was a sniper. The US Army Marksmanship Unit honors his achievement and skill with the USAMU Black Hat. According to Lt. Col. Daniel Hodne, only 8 black hats have been given to people outside of the USAMU.

If that wasn’t enough, they give him a replica of his Army Issue 1903 Springfield A4 made by Navy Arms. They have him shoot it at a 300 yard target and he does not disappoint.

But the awesomeness doesn’t stop there. They let Ted Gundy shoot one of their custom Remington 700s to hit a target at 1,000 yards.

And at 86 years old, he manages to get a 5 inch group of three shots to the head at 1,000 yards.

Warning, this video may get you in the feels. Thanks to Ted Gundy and all Veterans like him who have sacrificed and served this country.
