Condolences to Geissele

The Latest ARFCOM newsletter shares the very sad news that two longtime Geissele Automatics employees have passed away in the last two weeks.

It is with heavy hearts that we have to send out this email to all of our resellers.

In the last 2 weeks our dear friends and co-workers Robert Evans (Director of Manufacturing) and Barbara Hochwind (Assembly Manager) have passed on to be with the Lord. Both Robert and Barb were instrumental in making Geissele Automatics into the company that it has become.

Robert was a highly experienced machinist and metal worker who could make anything out of metal. No manufacturing problem was unsolvable to Robert. He especially liked working on our “Black Projects” that we do for our men and women in uniform. Barb was one of our first employees, actually working with Bill in our 12×14 basement packaging triggers. As she grew with the company she was in charge of a 10 person assembly department and was the gate keeper for all outgoing quality.

Both Robert and Barb freely shared their skills and knowledge so that Cody and Nate, who are taking their places, can continue to bring the same service and quality to the shooting community.
