I’m here in West Point, Kentucky at the Knob Creek Gun Range for the October edition of the 2013 Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. It’s my first time here and it is going to be a blast.

Over the next few days I’ll be posing about the cool guns and events here, so keep coming back to TFB for updates.

Plenty of machine guns, exotic guns, and accessories galore. The famed night shoot happens Saturday and I’ll be sure to capture it on video.

For now, I’m off to go check out the Four Roses bourbon distillery since no trip to Kentucky would be complete without some sampling!

Chris Cheng is History Channel’s Top Shot Season 4 champion and author of “Shoot to Win,” a book for beginning shooters. A self-taught amateur turned pro through his Top Shot win, Cheng very much still considers himself an amateur who parachuted into this new career.

He is a professional marksman for Bass Pro Shops who shares his thoughts and experiences from the perspective of a newbie to the shooting community. He resides in San Francisco, CA and works in Silicon Valley.
