Ruger Prescott, Arizona Facility Damaged By Storm

    The recent storms in the Arizona caused the roof of Ruger’s Prescott, Arizona manufacturing facility to collapse. Thankfully nobody was injured.

    The company issued the following press release …

    SOUTHPORT, CT– A severe thunderstorm and heavy precipitation on July 25, 2013 caused a portion of the roof of Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) Prescott, Arizona manufacturing facility to collapse. No one was injured. The Company is in the process of undertaking repairs and expects to be back in production soon.

    This temporary disruption may have a material impact on the Company’s results of operations for the third quarter of 2013, but is not expected to have a material impact on the financial position of the Company.
