The Crazy Quail

It is very easy to succumb to sensory overload at the Shot Show. Overloading can lead to several unfortunate side effects, all of which result in missing something interesting. In the interest of covering the Shot Show thoroughly, here is the Crazy Quail. This is a product that I would have missed because of Shot Show overload.

Crazy Quail is a live bird shooting simulator built for shooting clubs. The Crazy Quail’s battery operated rotating base will give you more unique target presentations in a smaller footprint.  It is available in single, double and quad versions.

While I wish I could afford to run one of these, the large quad machine holds 1,632 clays and throws 160 clays per minute. The spinning base by itself is selling for about $5,000 and the big quad is about $18,000. So, it would be a bit expensive for a personal clay thrower. However, it looks like it would be a blast for your gun club.
